PM Mitsotakis in Livadia: Building Greece's future on solid foundations

Greece is like a house the Greek people are building together, with strong foundations to build upon, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said while touring Livadia, central Greece, on Tuesday ahead of elections on May 21.
"I often speak of Greece resembling a home we are all building together, our joint home. We have laid the foundations, which consist of fiscal stability and a strong economy. On the foundations, we are starting to build the pillars of a Greece we visualize: a Greece of development, social, digital, green, and strong," Mitsotakis said.
The premier also responded to the repeated call by main opposition leader Alexis Tsipras that the two engage in a debate. "To start with, I have spent a hundred hours in discussion with Mr. Tsipras in Parliament. I do not think that there is anyone expecting to learn much more about what I and Mr. Tsipras believe," Mitsotakis said of the SYRIZA leader. "Debates always take place, but they do so with all party leaders," he underlined.
