More trains are gradually returning to operation in Greece following their operation's suspension after the deadly Tempi train collision on February 28.

As of Monday (April 3), the following daily passenger trains will be added to serve the Athens-Thessaloniki route: the Intercity 52 departing at 10:28 to Thessaloniki and the Intercity 10:08 to Athens.

On the Athens-Kalabaka line, the 882 train departing at 08:28 to Kalabaka, and the 887 train departing to Athens at 16:45.

The first two freight trains to and from Athens and Thessaloniki departed on Wednesday night.
