Greek Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister in Economic Diplomacy Kostas Fragogiannis met with Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in Ankara, following the completion of the 4th Meeting of the Greece-Türkiye Positive Agenda there on Wednesday.

The meeting was also attended by Turkish Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Burak Akçapar, with whom Fragogiannis had met earlier in the framework of the Positive Agenda initiative on economic and trade issues. The initiative was agreed by the two countries' respective foreign ministers in April 2021.

Diplomatic sources said that Çavuşoğlu requested to be briefed on the meeting on the Positive Agenda, and expressed his warm support of the process. In a tweet, he called the meeting with Fragogiannis a "fruitful conversation".
