"Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is in Davos, Switzerland in order to take part, today and tomorrow, in the World Economic Forum (WEF)", government spokesperson Yiannis Economou announced while briefing the press on Thursday.
The prime minister, added Economou, "will have the opportunity, both through his public speeches and in private meetings, to highlight the good performance of the Greek economy in recent years, the improvements in the investment environment brought about by a series of reforms and lowered taxes, the investment opportunities opening up for Greece and the prospects of the Greek economy, for which regaining investment grade remains a key target".
He also said that Mitsotakis will hold a series of meetings with technology, education and banking representatives.
The Greek prime minister, Economou said, has also been invited to a round of meetings where, in addition to representatives of top business firms, acclaimed personalities in the fields of the mass media, politics and diplomacy will participate.
Referring to the migration issue, he noted that Greece now has strong borders on land and at sea. Greece had fortified Evros with the border fence and imposed order on the NGOs, decongested and relieved the islands, tackled human traffickers and granted refugees their dignity while organising the deportation of irregular migrants, preventing migrant intrusions and neutralising Turkiye's machinations, he said. Today, Economou added, Greece protects the people that ruthless traffickers cast into the waters of the Aegean's waters. 
He also referred to the government's continuous effort to address the hike in prices and figures showing "an explosion in the turnover of Greek enterprises in 2022".
Concluding, the spokesperson announced that the prime minister will hold a press conference on Monday at 12:30 on the topic: "Economy, Growth and the Labour Market".
