Strengthening of relations between Greece-Kuwait dominate Georgiadis, Fragogiannis' visit

Development and Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis and Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Kostas Fragogiannis, who had visited Kuwait on 16 and 17 January as part of a policy for the upgrading of the relations of Greece with the countries of the Gulf, had successive meetings with prominent Kuwaiti entrepreneurs, as well as officials of the country's new government, according to a foreign ministry's announcement.
The subject of the discussions was the strengthening of the relations between the two countries as well as the preparation of a joint inter-ministerial meeting on the agenda of issues concerning both the Kuwaiti business world and the Greek businessmen who want to expand their activities to the Arabian Peninsula.
The two Greek ministers, according to the same announcement, had the opportunity to present the rapid change that has been recorded in the last four years in the country, which is now an attractive destination for large investments. Particular interest was expressed by the Deputy Minister of Finance of Kuwait Aseel Al-Saad Al Munifi and the Minister of Trade and Industry Mazin Saad Ali Al-Nahedh, for the Athens-Kuwait air connection, an agreement which, as they assured, is very close to being closed.
