SYRIZA party begins releasing ballot lists

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, leader of SYRIZA, will run on the ballots of Achaia area and the city of Larissa, reserving a place also in a third ballot that will be announced later, the party said on Wednesday evening.
The ballot lists for the general elections of July 7 are being gradually released following a meeting earlier of the party's Political Secretariat that was chaired by PM Tsipras.
Labor Minister Effie Achtsioglou will serve as spokesperson for Syriza-Progressive Alliance, as the party's spokesperson Rania Svigou is running on the Athens District I ballot.
The Athens District I also includes, among others, ministers Dimitris Tzanakopoulos, Christos Vernardakis, and Myrsini Zorba. Among other inclusions in the greater Athens or Piraeus area, ministers include Giorgos Katrougalos and Euclid Tsakalotos (Athens North B1), Yiannis Dragasakis (Athens West B2), Yiannis Mouzalas, Nikos Pappas and Theano Fotiou (Athens South B3), and Christos Spirtzis (East Attica I).
