Seven minors arrested over violent incidents at Moria refugee hotspot on Lesvos

Seven minors, refugees of various nationalities, were arrested on Thursday in a sweep at the Moria hotspot on the island of Lesvos, for participating in incidents at the hotspot on Sunday night.
According to the Greek police, the youths attacked police and damaged facilities and equipment of government agencies and nonprofits.
The misdemeanours in their case files, which vary per individual, include overall charges of arson, breach of public peace, destruction of property, attempt at bodily harm, and resistance.
The Moria reception and identification center for migrants and refugees on Lesvos includes facilities for underage migrants. There are 350 children staying there.
