Two more million tourists will visit Greece this year, says Tourism Min Kountoura

At least two million more tourists will visit Greece this year in comparison with 2017, stated Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura to Athens-Macedonian News Agency on Friday adding that the exceptional upward course in the last three years will continue in 2018 with the trend to be even more upward this year.
In her interview with ANA, Kountoura underlined that Greece can meet the high demand and the increased flow of tourists, stating that Greece attracted in the period 2015-2017 new investments of high added value.
Specifically, over 25,000 more beds were added in large five and four star hotels (with over 300 beds), according to Tourism Ministry figures.
