"Greece is ready for the transition to digital radio," Minister of Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Media Nikos Pappas said on Thursday in an interview with "Sto Kokkino" radio station in Thessaloniki.
He also said that the transition to digital radio will be gradual and that the chart for digital radio frequencies will be published on Thursday.
Regarding the licensing of television channels, he stressed that the ministry is not involved in the process, adding that the National Council for Radio and Television is scheduled to conclude the unsealing of the tenders on Thursday.
Pappas said that the TV landscape will change, protecting both jobs and the quality of the television content on offer.
